Bastards – by Samuel Amazing Ayoade

they are children without a father
not that they lost him
to the drought that rocked the nile
or the dangerous tsunami at the artic
or the estuaries
that lay far beyond santuaries –
the cemetry;
but to the glowing embers of passion
undenied luvst
towards the mothers of eve
the author of life
and woe.
.
here is justice’s commentary:
“bastards –
could they not be children
without a mother too?”
